Are you an enthusiastic and highly organised Year 2 Teacher seeking a Full-Time role from January 2026? A friendly Good primary in Leicester is recruiting a Year 2 Teacher to join its KS1 team. The successful Year 2 Teacher will take part in pre-term planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 2 Teacher.
The school places early literacy and number fluency at the heart of its KS1 provision. The Year 2 Teacher will develop systematic phonics teaching, run guided reading and lead carefully sequenced writing units. From the January 2026 start, the Year 2 Teacher will run targeted interventions, analyse formative assessment information and report to families. The Year 2 Teacher will receive structured mentoring and in-school CPD as a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher from January 2026.
