An Independent School in Northampton seeks a committed and adaptable Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary department from January 2026. The successful Year 2 Teacher will be part of a close-knit teaching team, will prepare planning before January 2026 and will be ready to teach from January 2026.
The Independent School setting offers smaller classes and bespoke support for each child, enabling the Year 2 Teacher to differentiate effectively and deliver meaningful progress.
Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities- Deliver systematic phonics and guided reading.
- Design sequenced writing units and practical mathematics activities.

- Liaise with parents, lead school events and contribute to curriculum development.
