Are you a committed Key Stage 1 teacher who thrives on supporting children to consolidate learning and achieve early outcomes? Do you want to make a significant impact during a pivotal year? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Class Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving primary school in Lincolnshire from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

The Role

As our Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that consolidate Year 1 learning and prepare pupils for end-of-KS1 assessments.
  • Provide effective formative assessment and targeted interventions to secure progress.
  • Promote early reading fluency and confident maths strategies.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where all children feel supported and challenged.
  • Work with colleagues and parents to ensure smooth transitions and strong outcomes for pupils.
  • (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership as part of a TLR opportunity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
  • Are confident in delivering phonics, early reading, writing and maths.
  • Are organised, reflective and skilled communicators.
