We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a successful and welcoming primary school in Horley, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to a vibrant learning community where creativity, curiosity, and care for every child are at the heart of everything we do.

This permanent position is available full-time or part-time (2 days per week) and can start ASAP or after October half-term. Experienced teachers with QTS and a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a delightful Year 2 class, delivering engaging, structured, and play-based learning experiences in reading, writing, maths, and wider curriculum areas
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of every child in your care
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
  • Maintain effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support the school’s vision and ethos
