A popular Richmond primary is seeking a reflective, creative Year 1 Teacher to join its KS1 team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 1 Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning before January 2026, will attend a structured induction in January 2026, and will be in class from January 2026 as the Year 1 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 1 Teacher post is ideal for someone who loves phonics, early reading, and creative cross-curricular learning.

Responsibilities:

The Year 1 Teacher will teach high-quality systematic phonics, guided reading and engaging writing sequences. The Year 1 Teacher will meet parents to report progress and will contribute to moderation activities scheduled before January 2026 and after January 2026. The Year 1 Teacher will be expected to attend planning days ahead of January 2026 and begin teaching from January 2026.

Requirements:
