The Role

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing and analytical skills.

Prepare students for GCSE assessments and examinations.

Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.

Contribute to departmental planning and the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Has experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice.

Can motivate students with different abilities and learning needs.

Is committed to improving literacy and student outcomes.
Salary
MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
