Are you an energetic and thoughtful Year 1 Teacher seeking a Full-Time role from January 2026? A vibrant Wolverhampton primary is recruiting a Year 1 Teacher to join its KS1 phase. The successful Year 1 Teacher will take part in planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 1 Teacher. The role — Year 1 Teacher
The Year 1 Teacher will lead systematic phonics, guided reading, early writing and practical maths. The Year 1 Teacher will design continuous provision, run small-group interventions and use formative assessment to inform next steps. From planning tasks before January 2026 to classroom practice after January 2026, the Year 1 Teacher will play a central role in securing early progress.
Day-to-day for the Year 1 Teacher:
- Mornings: the Year 1 Teacher leads phonics and reading sessions that build fluency and vocabulary.
- Afternoons: the Year 1 Teacher delivers topic work and practical maths.
- The Year 1 Teacher will communicate with parents, lead parental workshops and contribute to moderation around January 2026.
