An ambitious secondary academy in Witham is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its established and well-resourced department in January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who wants to promote participation, improve sporting performance and help students develop confidence through physical education.
The Role
Teach PE across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to extracurricular sport.
Deliver engaging practical lessons that accommodate different abilities and fitness levels.
Support the development of school teams, sporting fixtures and enrichment activities.
Monitor student progress and encourage positive attitudes towards health and wellbeing.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop an inclusive and ambitious PE curriculum.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom and practical teaching skills.
Can motivate students and promote teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive participation.
