About the Role
The successful Food Technology Teacher will teach across KS3 to KS5, delivering practical and engaging lessons while ensuring students develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons

Teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5

Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations

Supporting practical work and coursework

Assessing and monitoring student progress

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations

Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities

Experience and Qualifications

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Design Technology or a related subject

Strong subject knowledge

Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

Ability to teach confidently through KS5

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A genuine passion for Food Technology and education
