About the Role

The Science Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that practical Science lessons run safely, efficiently, and smoothly. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and setting up practical equipment and demonstrations
  • Supporting teachers during lab activities where necessary
  • Ensuring safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals
  • Maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies
  • Keeping laboratories clean, organised, and well-maintained
  • Liaising with teaching staff and the technician team to anticipate lesson needs
