The selected Year 5 Teacher will take part in planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 5 Teacher.

The Year 5 Teacher role involves designing ambitious, knowledge-rich sequences in maths and English, leading topic work that links subjects, and running targeted interventions. The Year 5 Teacher will use data to personalise learning, work with teaching assistants, and lead enrichment projects. From pre-term meetings before January 2026 to full teaching from January 2026, the Year 5 Teacher will be supported by a collaborative leadership team and receive regular CPD.
