About the Role

As Attendance & Safeguarding Administrator, you will support the daily monitoring of attendance and punctuality alongside key safeguarding administration. Working closely with designated safeguarding leads and pastoral leaders, you will help ensure information is accurate, concerns are escalated appropriately, and processes are followed consistently.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality, ensuring registers are accurate and updated promptly
  • Completing first-day response processes (calls/messages/emails) and logging outcomes clearly
  • Maintaining accurate records and producing attendance reports for pastoral and safeguarding teams
  • Identifying patterns of absence and flagging concerns for appropriate follow-up
  • Supporting safeguarding administration, including secure record keeping and document management
  • Coordinating meetings, minutes and paperwork linked to pastoral/safeguarding processes where required
  • Liaising professionally with families regarding attendance and school routines
  • Supporting consistent systems that protect pupil welfare and learning time
