We are seeking a passionate, dynamic and creative Drama Teacher to join a high-performing secondary school in Wakefield from January. The successful teacher will deliver exciting and engaging Drama lessons across KS3/KS4 with potential KS5 involvement. You will contribute to the school's strong performing arts culture, support school productions and encourage students to develop confidence, performance skills and a love of theatre.

Full-time position starting in January. MPS / UPS Salary.

School Information: This high-achieving 11-18 mainstream school has exceptional behaviour, strong academic outcomes and excellent support for staff. The Drama department benefits from a dedicated studio, stage equipment, rehearsal spaces and a collaborative team environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Drama, Performing Arts or related discipline
  • PGCE / QTS
  • Experience teaching KS3/KS4 Drama
  • Strong understanding of performance, theatre and script work
  • Willingness to support productions, clubs and wider performing arts events

Salary: Paid in line with MPS / UPS.
