A prestigious coastal secondary school in Cornwall is seeking a versatile and passionate Business & Economics Teacher to join its successful Social Sciences department for a permanent January start.

With a rapidly growing Sixth Form, this school seeks a skilled practitioner to teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stage 4 (GCSE/BTEC) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level). The successful candidate will play a central role in connecting economic theory and corporate strategy to real-world global markets.

Working closely with the Social Sciences faculty, you will design and deliver a dynamic curriculum covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, marketing, financial management, and enterprise. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality GCSE and A-Level Business Studies and Economics lessons
  • Plan, resource, and execute lessons that foster analytical thinking, financial literacy, and market evaluation
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, preparing Sixth Form students for high-level examination success
