The Role
- Teach Geography across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A Level
- Deliver lessons that promote analytical thinking, fieldwork skills and global awareness
- Inspire pupils to engage critically with environmental, social and geopolitical issues
- Plan well-structured, academically rigorous lessons tailored to stretch and challenge able learners
- Monitor progress carefully and provide high-quality, developmental feedback
- Prepare pupils thoroughly for examinations and independent research components
- Contribute to curriculum innovation and the continued development of the Geography provision
- Lead or support enrichment opportunities such as field trips (local and international), Geography Society, Model United Nations or sustainability initiatives
- Play a full and active role in the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities
