Site Supervisor
A successful Mixed Secondary School in Telford is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys practical work and is committed to maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming school environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the school site and ensuring facilities remain fully operational throughout the year.
Responsibilities include opening and securing the premises, carrying out regular site inspections, undertaking minor maintenance and repairs, monitoring health and safety compliance and responding promptly to maintenance requests.
You will work closely with the Premises Manager to coordinate contractors, prepare facilities for examinations, school performances, parents' evenings and sporting events, and ensure classrooms and communal areas are maintained to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will also support planned maintenance projects, conduct routine health and safety checks and contribute to maintaining an attractive and safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
This role requires strong practical skills, excellent organisational abilities and the confidence to work independently while delivering exceptional standards across the school site.
