A high-performing secondary school in Croydon is seeking a talented DT Technician to join a busy and well-established Design Technology department.
You’ll work alongside experienced teachers and help provide pupils with an excellent practical learning experience across KS3–KS5.
- Preparing workshops for practical lessons
- Setting up materials, tools and equipment
- Maintaining machinery and specialist equipment
- Supporting pupils with practical projects
- Managing stock and ordering materials
- Supporting GCSE and A-Level coursework
- Maintaining workshop health & safety standards
Previous experience within Design Technology, engineering, product design or a workshop environment is desirable.
You’ll be practical, dependable and confident using a range of tools and machinery, with excellent attention to detail.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician or someone with strong practical industry experience looking to move into education.
