The Opportunity

Are you a reliable, hands‑on Site Manager looking for a role with regular hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

A small, one‑form‑entry primary school in Barnet is looking for a dedicated Site Manager to help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

This is a great opportunity to become an important part of a close‑knit school community, working weekday mornings with the potential to pick up additional hours during the holidays.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day upkeep, security and maintenance of the school premises, ensuring the site is safe and ready for the school day.

Your duties will include:

  • Opening and securing the school premises.

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and general site checks.

  • Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, safe and well maintained.

  • Monitoring site security and reporting any faults or hazards.

  • Supporting deliveries, contractors and external visitors.

  • Preparing the site for school activities and helping maintain a welcoming environment.

About You

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, taking pride in your work and responding to maintenance issues as they arise. Experience in a school environment would be beneficial.

Why Apply?

  • Early finish: Work 7am–12pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Small school community: Become a valued member of a close‑knit team.

  • Long‑term potential: Temporary to permanent opportunity.
