Are you a passionate Music ECT looking for the ideal school to begin your teaching career? We are currently seeking a vibrant and dedicated Music Teacher to join an ambitious and inclusive school in Swindon from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role open to ECTs and experienced teachers.

About the Role
As a Music ECT, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Planning creative and practical lessons that build musical skill
  • Supporting choirs, ensembles, and school performances
  • Assessing progress and supporting students’ musical development
  • Contributing to curriculum planning
  • Participating fully in the ECT induction programme

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Music or related field
• PGCE with QTS
• Music Teacher (ECT applications encouraged)

Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS
