The Role
An ambitious Secondary Academy in Swindon is seeking a professional, highly analytical, and exceptionally organised Mathematics Teacher to join their prominent STEM faculty. This role represents a brilliant opportunity to champion numerical literacy, structural logic, and advanced analytical reasoning within a department where mathematics is a highly successful and popular choice at advanced levels.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional leadership across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The timetable involves delivering a rich, challenging curriculum covering core numerical logic, quadratic functions, and geometry at GCSE, alongside pure calculus, algebraic modeling, statistical structures, and mechanics models for A-Level exam cohorts. Beyond classroom teaching, responsibilities include constructing comprehensive student tracking profiles, implementing targeted technical intervention tracks for mathematical data fluency, managing parental correspondence, and supporting the school's regional engineering challenges and UKMT mathematics tournaments.
You will act as a primary link with parents, examination boards, and local STEM networks, requiring absolute professionalism and data accuracy at all times. Strong organizational skills are necessary to balance heavy mock diagnostic marking cycles with real-time digital progress tracking inside an active secondary school framework.
