A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled, proactive and customer-focused IT Technician to join a modern, forward-thinking and digitally innovative secondary school in Swindon. As an IT Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping the school’s technology running smoothly, supporting both staff and students with a wide range of technical needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing frontline technical support for hardware, software and network issues
- Maintaining classroom devices, including PCs, laptops, tablets and interactive whiteboards
- Supporting AV systems, projectors and digital learning technology across the site
- Assisting with Office 365 administration, user permissions, password resets and account setup
- Monitoring and maintaining network stability, WiFi connectivity and printing systems
- Supporting installations, system upgrades and long-term ICT improvement projects
- Maintaining accurate helpdesk logs and delivering excellent customer service
- Troubleshooting issues calmly, efficiently and professionally in a busy school environment
