We are currently seeking a dynamic, innovative and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join a successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Swindon. This full-time, permanent position begins January 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate) and offers a fantastic opportunity to teach within an ambitious DT Department known for creativity, technical excellence and strong student engagement.

- Teaching DT across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities available depending on specialism)

- Contributing to extra-curricular and enrichment activities
- Engaging in regular CPD and collaborative departmental planning
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and presentation
- Playing a role in the wider school community through events and cross-curricular work
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in DT, Product Design, Engineering or related subject
- PGCE with QTS
- Strong practical and technical workshop skills
- Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to inspiring young designers
- Confident in delivering safe and effective practical lessons
Salary
Paid to scale – MPS / UPS.
