We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Design & Technology ECT to join a progressive Independent School in Swindon. This is a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026, offering a superb launchpad for a career in DT teaching within a top-tier educational setting.

The DT Department is exceptionally well-equipped with CAD/CAM software, laser cutters, CNC routers, 3D printers, engineering tools, and dedicated workshop spaces. Small class sizes allow for highly personalised teaching, enabling ECTs to build confidence and refine classroom practice.
You will teach DT across KS3–KS5, delivering hands-on, project-based lessons that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and technical accuracy. The school also offers extensive co-curricular opportunities including robotics clubs, design challenges, engineering competitions, and cross-department collaborations.
Experience and Qualifications- Degree in DT, Product Design, Engineering, or similar
- PGCE and QTS (ECT applicants welcome)
