An innovative Southwark primary is recruiting an inspiring Year 3 Teacher to join Lower Key Stage 2 from January 2026. The Year 3 Teacher will be part of a collaborative phase, will attend planning sessions before January 2026, join induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.
We’re looking for a Year 3 Teacher who will design memorable sequences in reading, mathematics and science and will build confident, resilient learners.
Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities- Plan and deliver sequenced English and mathematics units as the Year 3 Teacher.
- Lead practical enquiry in science and creative foundation topics as the Year 3 Teacher.
- Run targeted interventions and report progress as the Year 3 Teacher.
- Prepare moderation materials and support transition activities beginning after January 2026.
- QTS/PGCE or equivalent.
- Secure KS2 practice and effective behaviour strategies.
- Available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, for induction in January 2026, and to begin teaching from January 2026.
