You will teach Physics within the wider Science curriculum at KS3 before taking responsibility for GCSE Physics at KS4. The role will involve teaching topics such as forces, energy, electricity, waves, particles and radioactivity.
Students will be encouraged to understand the principles behind physical phenomena rather than simply memorising information. You will use demonstrations, practical investigations, questioning and problem-solving activities to develop their understanding.
At GCSE, you will help students prepare for examinations by developing your ability to interpret data, complete calculations and apply scientific principles to unfamiliar situations.
You will also contribute to assessment and curriculum planning, ensuring that students receive regular feedback and appropriate support throughout the year.
