We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sociology Teacher to register for daily supply work across Sutton. We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Sociology Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Sutton. This is not a permanent or full-time position. Teachers will instead be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the needs of local schools. Assignments may include individual cover days or short blocks, giving you the opportunity to remain flexible while continuing to support students' academic development.

As a Daily Supply Sociology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to question assumptions, analyse evidence and develop their understanding of society.

  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver clear and engaging Sociology lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
  • Critical Thinking: Encourage students to evaluate sociological theories, research and different perspectives.
  • Discussion & Debate: Facilitate thoughtful classroom discussions while ensuring students express their ideas respectfully and support their arguments with evidence.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment.
  • Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.
