Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
A primary school in Stowmarket is seeking a Reception Teacher for the next academic year. The school wants someone who can establish a welcoming classroom, support early development and create a strong foundation for children’s future learning.
The Role
Plan and deliver learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Provide a balance of play-based, child-initiated and adult-led activities.
Support early phonics, communication, number recognition and physical development.
Observe children and record progress towards developmental goals.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
Work with the early years team to support transition and school readiness.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has a sound understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework.
Can create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Communicates effectively with families and colleagues.
