A successful Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a professional and organised School Administrator to join its busy office team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced school environment and providing high-quality support to students, staff, parents and visitors. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the administrative team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office while maintaining a welcoming and professional service.
Working alongside the Office Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will manage reception duties, answer telephone and email enquiries, welcome visitors and ensure safeguarding procedures are consistently followed. You will maintain accurate pupil records, update attendance information, process admissions and leavers and support the administration of examinations and educational visits.
The role also includes preparing letters and reports, organising meetings, maintaining confidential records, ordering office supplies and updating the school's management information system. You will support whole-school events, coordinate communication with parents and assist colleagues across the school with a range of administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities and a proactive approach to delivering an efficient administrative service while managing competing priorities.
