A primary school in Stevenage is looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher who can provide consistent, engaging teaching and support pupils as they consolidate their Key Stage 1 learning. The Role
Lead a Year 2 class and deliver the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Develop phonics, reading fluency, writing and mathematical understanding.
Plan differentiated activities to meet pupils’ learning needs.
Assess attainment and use feedback to support progress.
Work closely with support staff and families to address individual needs.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
Can maintain positive behaviour and clear classroom routines.
Uses assessment to identify areas for further development.
Is available to take up the position as soon as possible.
