Wayman Education is looking for a Science Technician to work in an Outstanding School starting immediately on a full-time basis. The school is based in Hertfordshire and is looking for a reliable, proactive, and well-organised Science Technician who can support the delivery of high-quality practical Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. Experience and Responsibilities

- Understanding of safe chemical handling, preparation of reagents, and health & safety procedures (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, organising, and setting up practical equipment for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons
- Supporting teachers during demonstrations and practical experiments
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and CLEAPSS guidance
- Maintaining, repairing, and safely storing equipment
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering departmental resources
- Ensuring laboratories are safe, clean, and well-organised at all times
