We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and can make PE accessible, challenging, and enjoyable for students of all abilities.
The Role
• Teaching: Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3–KS5, covering a broad range of individual and team sports.
• Developing Skills: Build students’ technical, tactical, and physical abilities through structured and progressive lessons.
• Building Confidence: Encourage students to participate positively and develop resilience through sport.
• Academic Support: Teach GCSE and A-Level PE where required, supporting students with both practical and theoretical elements.
• Wider Opportunities: Contribute to fixtures, clubs, competitions, and extracurricular sporting activities.
• Healthy Lifestyles: Promote the importance of physical activity, wellbeing, teamwork, and healthy living.
• Positive Environment: Create an inclusive environment where students feel motivated to participate and improve.
The Candidate
• Strong Sporting Background: A degree or qualification in PE, Sport, or a related subject would be preferred.
• Excellent Communicator: Able to demonstrate and explain sporting techniques clearly.
• Motivational: Someone who can encourage students to challenge themselves and enjoy physical activity.
• Adaptable: Able to teach students with a wide range of abilities.
• Positive Role Model: Patient, energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic.
