ASAP Start | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Temporary – 1 Term+ | £120–£130 per day depending on experience
A school in Hertfordshire is looking for a reliable General Admin Assistant to join its busy office team on a temporary basis.
This is a varied role covering both general administration and reception, so you’ll be dealing with parents, visitors and staff as well as helping with the everyday running of the office.
The role

Welcoming visitors and dealing with enquiries at reception.

Answering calls and responding to emails.

Supporting with general school administration.

Updating pupil information and maintaining accurate records.

Assisting with attendance and other routine office tasks.

Preparing letters, documents and correspondence.

Filing, scanning and keeping paperwork organised.

Helping the wider office team when needed.
What we're looking for
You’ll ideally have previous administration or reception experience, preferably within a school or another busy office environment.
We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised and confident dealing with people. You’ll also need good IT skills and the ability to manage several tasks without losing attention to detail.
Experience with Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom would be useful, but isn’t essential.
