Our client is seeking an organised, passionate, and safety-conscious Lead Drama & Creative Arts Technician to join their flourishing expressive arts department from September. This is a full-time position, ideal for a theatre production graduate, experienced stage manager, or AV technician looking for a stable and highly rewarding educational post.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day technical operations across the school’s drama studios and main performance auditorium. Key duties include:
- Setting up lighting and sound rigs for daily Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 (A-Level) drama assessment pieces.
- Managing stage props and costume inventories.
- Overseeing PAT testing for stage equipment.
- Directing live technical controls (lighting boards, PA systems, and projection) during large-scale whole-school productions, musical showcases, and open evenings.

- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach when working alongside teaching staff, student production crews, and visiting external artists.
