Spanish Teacher (ECTs Welcome) – Northamptonshire – January 2026

A welcoming and values-driven secondary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Spanish to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role — ideal for an Early Career Teacher who wants to develop their practice in a caring and ambitious school community. You’ll teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to build confidence, fluency and a genuine appreciation for language and culture.

The MFL department is collaborative, creative and focused on practical, engaging teaching. Lessons blend grammar, vocabulary and cultural understanding to help students develop real-world language skills. Teachers work together to plan, share ideas and reflect on best practice — ensuring consistent support for both new and experienced colleagues. As an ECT, you’ll be fully supported through a comprehensive induction programme, with regular mentor meetings, professional coaching and time built into your timetable for planning and development. You’ll also benefit from opportunities to observe experienced teachers and participate in CPD designed to strengthen classroom confidence and subject expertise.

You’ll bring enthusiasm, subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning.
