We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher (ECT) to join a thriving independent school in Southend this September. This is a school where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. The role will involve:
- Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities to contribute at Key Stage 5 where appropriate)
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- Inspiring students through Spanish language, culture, and real-world contexts
- Supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes through effective teaching, assessment and feedback
- Developing students’ confidence in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and independent language learning
- Contributing to a supportive and collaborative Modern Foreign Languages department
- Taking part in the wider life of the school, including trips, cultural activities, enrichment and co-curricular opportunities
