A highly successful school in Southend-on-Sea is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join its established Social Sciences department. The successful candidate will be passionate about Psychology and able to inspire students through engaging, challenging and academically rigorous lessons.
The role will involve teaching Psychology across KS4 and KS5, with responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress and preparing students for external examinations.
The school is keen to receive applications from experienced Psychology Teachers as well as suitable ECTs. Applications from overseas-trained teachers with a recognised teaching qualification and QTS are also welcomed.

Experience and Qualifications

Psychology Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5

Strong knowledge of Psychology curriculum and examination specifications

Relevant degree and formal teaching qualification with QTS

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Ability to inspire students and develop their analytical skills

Experience preparing students for GCSE/A Level examinations desirable
