Psychology Teacher required for an immediate start at a well-regarded secondary school based in Southend-on-Sea.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver Psychology across KS4 and KS5, helping students develop a strong understanding of psychological theories, research, and contemporary issues.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging Psychology lessons across KS4 and KS5.
- Teaching psychological theories, research methods, and contemporary applications.
- Developing students' ability to analyse, evaluate, and apply psychological concepts.
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations through effective revision and exam practice.
- Using questioning and discussion to develop students' confidence and understanding.
- Monitoring student progress and identifying areas requiring further support.
- Providing clear and constructive feedback to improve written responses.
- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development.
- Encouraging independent study and wider engagement with Psychology.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Psychology Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Psychology examination specifications.
- Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.
- Experience teaching GCSE or A-Level Psychology would be advantageous.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to make complex psychological concepts accessible and engaging.
- Legal ability to work within the UK.
