Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a highly regarded school in Southend-on-Sea. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys helping students develop their understanding of human behaviour, research methods and the wider psychological world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering well-planned, engaging and appropriately challenging Psychology lessons. You will be expected to encourage students to think critically, develop their analytical skills and apply psychological theories and concepts to real-world situations.

You will join an established department where colleagues work collaboratively to share ideas, develop resources and support students in achieving their academic goals. The school is looking for a teacher who can contribute positively to the department while establishing strong and respectful relationships with students.

The role would suit an experienced Psychology Teacher who is looking for a new challenge, as well as an ECT seeking to develop their teaching within a supportive environment.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Psychology Teacher with strong subject knowledge

  • Ability to teach Psychology across the relevant key stages

  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE

  • Strong understanding of Psychology curriculum content

  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Ability to motivate students and encourage independent thinking

  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

  • Applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs

  • Overseas teachers with an appropriate formal teaching qualification are encouraged to apply

  • Legal ability to work within the UK
