Geography Teacher required January 2026 for a good mixed school based in Southend-on-Sea. The Geography Teacher will join a motivated, well-supported and forward-thinking Humanities team.

Our Client is seeking a Geography Teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 Geography within a successful and ambitious secondary school in Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality curriculum delivery, take part in fieldwork and enrichment activities, and work collaboratively with the Humanities faculty to drive student engagement and progress.

School Information: This 11–18 comprehensive educates approximately 1,300 students and continues to achieve strong results, performing consistently above national benchmarks in core subjects. The Geography department benefits from specialised teaching rooms equipped with digital mapping software, GIS tools, interactive displays and extensive fieldwork resources. The curriculum is well structured, with clear progression pathways that support students in developing geographical enquiry, critical thinking and spatial awareness across a broad range of topics.
