We are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Southend-on-Sea. The school is looking for a creative educator who can inspire students to develop their artistic skills, confidence and individual creative voice.

You will be responsible for teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, delivering a varied curriculum that allows students to explore different techniques, materials and artistic approaches. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and committed to creating an engaging classroom environment.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Art Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.

  • Strong knowledge of Art and creative techniques.

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.

  • Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • Passion for developing students' artistic confidence and creativity.

  • Ability to differentiate lessons for students with varying levels of ability.

  • Legal ability to work within the UK.
