We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and committed Female PE ECT to join a thriving independent school in Southampton as soon as possible.

The role will involve:

β€’ Teaching Physical Education across the relevant Key Stages, with opportunities to contribute to different sporting activities and areas of the curriculum
β€’ Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive and challenging practical lessons that develop students' physical skills, confidence and knowledge
β€’ Encouraging participation, teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude towards sport and healthy lifestyles
β€’ Contributing to a supportive and collaborative PE department
β€’ Taking part in the wider life of the school through clubs, fixtures, competitions and co-curricular activities

We are looking for someone who:

β€’ Is passionate about PE and enjoys inspiring young people through sport and physical activity
β€’ Builds positive and respectful relationships with students and colleagues
β€’ Has high expectations and a calm, consistent approach to behaviour and classroom management
β€’ Is committed to developing as a teacher and making the most of ECT mentoring and professional development
β€’ Is enthusiastic about contributing to the wider school community beyond the classroom
