A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Southampton. The school is seeking a passionate teacher who can inspire students through engaging English lessons and help them develop strong reading, writing, analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time position with an ASAP start and would suit either an experienced teacher or an ECT.

About the Role

The successful English Teacher will teach English across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering well-planned and challenging lessons that encourage students to develop a genuine appreciation of literature and language. You will be responsible for supporting students through GCSE and A Level study, developing their ability to analyse texts, construct effective arguments and communicate ideas with confidence. The successful candidate will also contribute positively to the wider English department and school community.
