A welcoming Primary School in Solihull is seeking a creative and organised Art Technician to support its vibrant curriculum on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment and wants to play an important role in helping children develop their artistic confidence and imagination.
Working alongside teaching staff, you will prepare resources, maintain equipment and ensure practical art activities are delivered safely and efficiently. You will prepare paints, clay, textiles, drawing materials and mixed-media resources ready for lessons, ensuring classrooms are fully equipped before each session. You will organise storage areas, monitor stock levels and order specialist materials to ensure teachers always have access to the resources they need.
The role also includes maintaining art equipment, preparing displays of pupils' work, supporting whole-school exhibitions and helping organise creative events throughout the year. You will assist teachers during practical lessons where required and ensure all resources are stored safely in accordance with health and safety guidance.
Working closely with staff, you will help create inspiring learning spaces that celebrate pupils' creativity while encouraging high standards of presentation across the school. The successful candidate will be organised, enthusiastic and practical, with a genuine passion for supporting creative education and helping children develop their artistic skills.
