Role Overview
We are seeking a School Administrator to play a key role in the smooth running of our school office. You will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to staff, students, parents, and senior leaders, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
- Manage telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate student records on the school MIS (Arbor/SIMS)
- Support attendance processes and safeguarding documentation
- Coordinate meetings, room bookings, and SLT diaries
- Produce reports, letters, and communications on behalf of senior leaders
- Assist with admissions paperwork and transition documentation
- Support school events, open evenings, and parents’ evenings
- Maintain filing systems and ensure GDPR compliance
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Candidate Requirements
- Previous administration experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
