Are you a caring and experienced Nursery Teacher looking to lead early years provision from January 2026? Would you like to join a Slough primary that values play-based learning and strong home–school partnerships? We are recruiting a Nursery Teacher for a vibrant early years setting in Slough. The Nursery Teacher will plan developmentally appropriate sessions, maintain learning journals and work with families to support children’s social, emotional and early-learning development. This Nursery Teacher post starts January 2026, with induction and handover scheduled before January 2026 so the Nursery Teacher can begin the spring term confident and prepared.

Main duties
- Design and deliver engaging nursery sessions that support language, physical development and early numeracy.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress and use evidence to plan appropriate next steps.
- Build strong relationships with families to support routines and readiness for Reception across Slough.
- Maintain safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor environments and manage nursery resources.
- Contribute to team planning, share best practice and take part in early-years improvement initiatives.
Person specification
- Relevant early-years qualification and prior nursery experience with a strong understanding of child development.
- Patient, organised and able to work collaboratively with staff and families in Slough.
