A successful Mixed Secondary School in Shrewsbury is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join its support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional administrator to take responsibility for the efficient running of the school office while supporting students, staff, parents and senior leaders. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring administrative systems operate effectively and contribute positively to the wider success of the school.
The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the school's administrative functions, ensuring a professional and welcoming service is provided at all times. Responsibilities include managing office staff, maintaining student records, coordinating communications, overseeing admissions administration and supporting school operations.
You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure compliance with school policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency. The role also includes coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, supporting HR administration and overseeing key school processes.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong leadership abilities and the ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities within a busy environment.
