An ambitious 11-16 school in Shropshire is seeking a full-time French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department, with a TLR available for an experienced candidate ready to take on responsibility within the department. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of languages in a school with real ambition for its MFL provision.
The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (AQA), contributing to the department's plans to raise the uptake of modern languages at GCSE and to embed cultural enrichment more deeply across the KS3 programme. An experienced teacher may also take on responsibility for curriculum leadership, mentoring early-career colleagues, or coordinating the department's enrichment activities. The role includes maintaining accurate assessment data, contributing to departmental meetings, and supporting the delivery of engaging, well-differentiated lessons.

Requirements
Degree in French and QTS; fluency in French essential
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 French
