An ambitious and high-performing Outstanding secondary school in Shrewsbury is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join its successful Creative Arts faculty from September. About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching a wide range of artistic techniques including drawing, painting, and mixed media
- Encouraging creativity, experimentation, and independent artistic development
- Supporting pupils in building sketchbooks and creative portfolios
- Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
- Contributing to the development of the Art curriculum and departmental resources
- Supporting art displays, exhibitions, and school creative events
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and inspiring studio environment
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
