A successful secondary school in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a motivated premises professional who enjoys leading the day-to-day operation of a busy school site and maintaining high standards across the buildings and grounds.
The Role
Working closely with the School Business Manager, you'll oversee the management of the school premises and ensure the site remains safe, secure, and fully operational. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the school site
- Supervising premises and cleaning staff
- Carrying out maintenance and coordinating repair works
- Managing contractors and planned maintenance projects
- Ensuring health and safety compliance across the site
- Opening and securing the school buildings
- Supporting school events and lettings when required
- Monitoring site security and responding to maintenance requests

The Successful Candidate

Experience managing contractors and prioritising workloads is essential.
