About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching a variety of sports and physical activities
- Encouraging pupil participation, fitness, and personal development
- Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and engagement
- Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
- Supporting extracurricular activities, clubs, and school competitions
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be committed to promoting physical fitness, wellbeing, and teamwork
- Be able to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities
